Through the work and efforts of many, we aim to improve the quality of life of the children welcomed at the Santa Isabel Children’s Charity Work. We have been working to complete a nursery for babies aged 0 to 4, and the room for girls aged 9 to 13.
We have completed the following:
- Plastering the interior and exterior
- Painting the interior
- Installing a false ceiling for insulation and aesthetics
- Putting in a mosaic in the girls’ room
- The changing rooms have been supplied with all the necessary equipment to ensure good hygiene for all the children
- Installing air conditioners in both rooms, which were donated by the British Embassy
- Constructing the kitchen, done with the help of a friend of the Casa, who donated time and materials as a birthday present to Sister Domingas
- The girls rooms have all the necessary beds, mattresses, and linens, provided by the Angola-Swiss Chamber of Commerce at the Dare to Dream Giving Gala
